For this project, I created an informational book based on the typeface Avenir. A classic yet modern font, I chose to use a monochromatic, black and white color scheme with bright pops of green. Every design element in the book was created using the letters, numbers, glyphs, and symbols from this typeface. The book contains information about the history of the typeface, examples of the typeface at various weights, a diagram noting the anatomy of the letters, and some interesting facts about where Avenir is in use today. The layout of this book was done primarily in Adobe InDesign, with a few elements created in Adobe Illustrator.
